CATALOGUING AND ELECTRONIC RECORDS: cataloguing, technical services support, custom products and databases, and retrospective conversion provided in partnership with Duncan Systems Specialists (DSS). DSS performs current cataloguing activities including both derived and original cataloguing using either Dewey of Library of Congress classification and Library of Congress or National Library of Canada subject headings. CIRCULATION- READY: our Circulation-Ready service is a fast, low-cost service that ensures you get your materials onto your shelves as quickly as possible! Spine labels and mylar jackets are attached and bar code labels are affixed to your books and embedded in the electronic marc record. When you receive your order just load your records and the materials can be circulated immediately. An excellent service for new collections or up-grades! EASY-COVER PAPERBACK LAMINATING SERVICE: the covers of your paperbacks are laminated with durable, clear plastic that helps prevent the paperback from getting dirty, torn, or worn out. A spine overlap ensures extra durability for longer circulation. The original cover artwork remains completely visible. PAPERBACK PRE-BINDING SERVICE: extends the life of your paperbacks. Original cover is removed, covered in mylar, and mounted onto heavy board stock. Original binding glue is removed and replaced with polyvinyl acetate glue, a product that will never dry out and crack. Acid-free materials are used throughout.
